I’m not familiar with the Palmer Report, but this seems like a thoughtful and appropriately cautious assessment of what may be going on with whole Trump-Russia investigation – certainly the most explosive problem Trump could potentially be facing in the months ahead. I think Comey and the FBI would be happy to nail Trump on this one, though they would need an airtight case to split the whole thing open in public. As always, it’s when everyone starts covering their own ass that the shit really hits the fan, and Michael Flynn could certainly be the one to get that ball rolling, given how Trump turned on him.
