This show, curated by Wen Hsiang\u00a0Tsai in collaboration with Wei Wei Yin and Gloria Tao,\u00a0is taking place at\u00a0that museum.\u00a0Dedicated to the causes of peace, justice, and human rights, the museum is a fitting site for this group exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>(The number &#8220;228&#8221; refers to the day an infamous\u00a0massacre\u00a0began: February 28, or 02-28.\u00a0The slaughter\u00a0in\u00a0Taiwan began with\u00a0an anti-government uprising\u00a0on February 27, 1947, ruthlessly suppressed by the right-wing Kuomintang\u00a0(KMT) government under Chiang Kai-Shek. The exhibition will continue at this venue through October 28, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Related programming at the museum included a curator&#8217;s talk by Wen Hsiang Tsai on opening day, and, on July 28, a <a href=\"http:\/\/museum.228.org.tw\/english\/info.aspx?v=7E28957DA254AA0B\" target=\"_blank\">lecture by political commentator Tieh chih Chang<\/a> and a panel discussion with former legislator, political commentator Cho Shui Lin; Jen To Yao, Associate Professor of Sociology at National Tsing-Hua University; and Ming Sho Ho, Professor of sociology at National Taiwan University.
