The Derrière Garde: News & Notes

TDG in Australia, Spring 2006
The Derrière Garde (or TDG, as he's known informally) makes news from time to time. And he keeps his eye on the news for items that seem especially pertinent to the craft of derrière-garding. Below you will find an assortment of such material, with the most recent items closest to the top. TDG welcomes your suggestions of pertinent material for this section of the site, and will gladly give you credit for it, and eventually reward you with some TDG gear (currently in the design phase).
July 2007: TDG Announces his Special CYA Workshop

The Derrière Garde proudly announces the availability of his unique CYA Workshop™, which he will offer, for a reasonable fee, at any venue to interested parties in groups of any size. (Individualized instruction also available by special arrangement.)

Through a combination of lecture, demonstration, and group exercise, TDG will transmit the CYA wisdom and wiles he has accumulated in years of derrière-garde activity. This will include the correct application in daily life of his TDG Tips, and such advanced techniques as the use of handy reflective surfaces and the buddy system. To schedule one of these workshops, email TDG: cya@derrieregarde.com.

December 2006: Social Menace, or a Chinese Derrière Garde?

Discovered in a newspaper from the People's Republic of China, wherein he was castigated for antisocial behavior, this nameless citizen may well have undertaken volunteer duty in the selfless tradition of TDG. Public nuisance or good samaritan? You decide.

Send pertinent items to The Derrière Garde, preferably as email attachments: cya@derrieregarde.com. Clicking on the icon of TDG's chapeau wherever it appears will get you randomly selected survival tips from TDG's vast storehouse of CYA know-how.
