This message is for you if you are north of Mars:

Please come and rescue us for we have fucked it up
beyond our power to repair, and we must have a POV
to bear on this, quite alien, the way the Fauves resuscitated
Art, when it lay moldering in Salons, or the way that Ludwig
Van found his Elysium for us. Just so we need an arrow, straight
as a canal, to demonstrate to us which side is up. But if you can’t come
soon because of your commitments somewhere else we’ll understand, yet
aren’t certain we can hold out long, since even now we’re losing bearings
fast and have to settle for a kind of virtual reality, but not the thing
itself. If it’s our tongue you haven’t mastered yet, please don’t
concern yourself since few of us can speak it any
more, and we’ll be happy to learn yours.

We’ll look for signals of response, if you have time,
in blinking Northern Lights, or on the air, or you
can e-mail me direct at ColemanE@SkywebW.com
