William Turnage ― who earns his handsome salary from the Trust on the presumption that he understands what a Trust’s regulations do and don’t allow ― didn’t know that a trustee can’t revoke a Trust’s provisions on whim. Thus, while Turnage clearly didn’t intend his attack on Katharine Martinez and the Center for Creative Photography as ineffectual, it turned out that way ― due to his ignorance and professional incompetence. William “Wild Bill” Turnage, Managing Trustee of the Ansel Adams Publishing Rights Trust, has publicly gone into full CYA mode. Turnage wants to reverse the now-widespread perception of himself as a vindictive thug, consequent to the scandalous disclosure of his despicable manipulation of Katharine Martinez, director of the Center for Creative Photography, and his corruption of the administration of the University of Arizona-Tucson, whose library system houses and governs the CCP. […] The year began for Photocritic International with threats of a six- to seven-figure lawsuit from three goons in expensive suits, related to my pursuit of the Polaroid Collection debacle. The goodfellas in question who tried making me an offer I couldn’t refuse: Mitchell Zuckerman, President of Sotheby’s Ventures, LLC: John R. Stoebner, the court-appointed Chapter 7 Trustee in the PBE Corporation bankruptcy proceeding; and George H. Singer, Esq., Stoebner’s attack poodle. The year concluded, approximately, with my call for the resignation of another thug, William “Wild Bill” Turnage, managing trustee of the Ansel Adams Publishing Rights Trust, consequent to his corruption of the Center for Creative Photography and the University of Arizona-Tucson, where that institution is based. […] You can see how this matter begins to bear on Team Norsigian’s struggle to authenticate the negatives it claims were made by Ansel Adams. Norsigian and his representatives have made numerous efforts to involve the CCP in the authentication of those negatives. In light of the revelation that the CCP does in fact “routinely” authenticate Adams material via a set of established protocols, the CCP’s responses to Team Norsigian’s requests can only be termed suspicious — inappropriate and, in several cases, inconsistent with its own established policies and procedures.
